On the internet you will probably find thousands of Fajita recipes, however not all of them will be the genuine original Texas-Mexican fajita recipe.

The fajita originated in Mexico back in the good old days when cowboys still took care of cows and other cattle in the open fields and when cows had the opportunity to go around and eat and get as much exercise as they wish, actually some cattle was forced to move around so that the meat is much better when compared to the taste of the meat today!.

A secret fajita recipe which has been sent from one generation to the next for hundreds of years is the following:

You can use either chicken or beef, depends on your tastes, but I do really suggest you use marinated beef instead, there is nothing better than the taste of marinated beef inside a fajita.

You will need the following (which will serve 2 adults)

water
hot fajita seasoning
a large chicken breast of chunks of beef (preferably marinated)
green peppers

Instructions to cook the Fajita:

1. Cut the beef (or chicken, whichever you prefer, sometimes people use both) and simmer in boiling water

2. Add peppers and fajita seasoning

3. Keep boiling until the paste starts thickening, pour in some more water to avoid the paste becoming too thick actually.

4. Heat the fajita lightly

5. Add everything inside you can add other raw ingredients such as tomato etc. to your liking..

Everything may be served hot or cold as you prefer, this would normally take less than 20 minutes to prepare.

Enjoy your meal!
